Thank you to everyone who came along to our first Anniversary Party last Sunday! It was a great success!
We had a fantastic afternoon at the Somerset Boat Centre in North Newton. Lots of people had fun on the paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. The narrow boat mini cruises were very popular too as well as the self-drive motorboats.
We also welcomed representatives from the Canal & River Trust and the Bridgwater & Taunton Canal – IWA Somerset Volunteers, who chatted to people about what they do. It was great they were able to join us and support our event.
Thanks again to everyone who helped make it possible. A huge ‘thank you’ to Ryan and the team at the boat centre and to Creech Party in the Park committee who organised and funded the barbecue to raise some funds for us. What a fantastic day!
