We would like to invite all our volunteers and supporters to our First Anniversary Party this July (2019)
It will take place at the Somerset Boat Centre in North Newton from 12noon until 4pm on Sunday, July 21.
People who attend will get the chance to use the equipment at the Boat Centre such as the paddleboards, Canadian canoes and single/double kayaks. Life-jackets/buoyancy aids will be provided.
There will also be mini skippered narrow boat cruises. Plus the chance to have a go in a self-drive motor boat with a RAR crew member.
Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic with them on the day.
Tickets will cost £15 per adult and £5 for children aged 10 to 18. Under 10s are free.
A family ticket – two adults and two children aged 10 to 18 will cost £35.
The ticket money is to cover the cost of the activities at the Somerset Boat Centre with proceeds to RAR for equipment. A huge ‘thank you’ to Ryan at the Somerset Boat Centre for organising this with us.
Ticket cost will also include a non-alcoholic drink on arrival, a raffle ticket with the chance to win some fantastic prizes donated by local businesses (soon to be announced) and an ice-cream. Thanks to Refresco for providing the soft drinks free of charge.
