Our RAR crew and all our volunteers have been invited by the IWA West Country Branch to attend its volunteers and friends outing on Sunday, May 19.
The trip will be to the Monmouth & Brecon Canal in Wales. It will include exclusive use of the trip boat – Dragonfly with a 2.5 hour cruise along the beautiful canal.
The cost of the coach trip and boat trip will be £25.50 per person.
In addition, a plain/cream tea will be available for purchase at £4.50 per person (which will be served after the turnaround). This has to be ordered at the time of booking (specifying what you require) and paid for by you on the day.
Other hot and cold drinks will be available for purchase on the boat.
Timings
10.45am – Depart Taunton from outside the Apple & Parrot Pub.
11.15am – Depart Bridgwater from outside the Admirals Landing.
1pm – Arrive Brecon. There will be time to buy lunch in Brecon where there are several venues available. Alternatively, you may wish to bring a packed lunch.
2.45pm – Meet at Dragonfly Mooring point to depart on 2.5 hour cruise at 3pm.
Departing Brecon at 6pm we will return to Bridgwater at around 7.15pm and Taunton at 7.45pm.
As with all coach trips timings are approximate and will be dictated by the traffic flow on the day.

All seats are offered subject to availability and will be sold on a first come first reserved basis. Sorry no young people under 14 years.
If there is insufficient take up of places by Saturday, April 27, the trip will be cancelled, and all monies refunded.
Should a passenger be unable to go, the seat may be transferred to another person. Sadly, we cannot give refunds.
